About GIY Gathering

The GIY Gathering is the annual get-together of GIYers to celebrate the harvest, share experiences, have some fun, and recognise the achievements and excellence of individual GIYers and GIY groups. The GIY Gathering will be the largest meeting of GIYers ever in Ireland. It promises to be an excellent event with highlights including over 30 workshops, demos and talks Urban Potting Shed, GIY Food Debate, forages and tours and much more. GIY is a national organization, and this is a once-a-year opportunity to be inspired by GIYers across the country – meeting people who are united in the single goal of growing more food.

For non GIY Gathering ticket holders tickets for cookery demos can be purchased (at a mere € 5 per session) in advance on our website or via Theatre Royal, for breakout sessions in person at Theatre Royal box office or by phone on 051 874402. Tickets for non GIY Gathering ticket holders is limited so early booking advised.
