FREE PARKING IN WATERFORD
On-street parking is free from 6.30pm to 8.30am Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday.
From 9.30pm to 8.30am on Fridays and free all day Sundays.

E-CARS
As a promotion to encourage the use of electric vehicles, Waterford City and County Council introduced free parking for electric vehicles. Electric vehicles (excluding hybrids) can park free of charge without displaying a parking ticket in any Council operated parking space in Waterford, Dungarvan and Tramore. Electric and Hybrid vehicles can park free of charge while charging at any charging point.
All vehicles must be moved once the charge is complete. Locations to charge E-Cars:

BY TRAIN
If you are travelling by train, the Dublin-Waterford line is a 2hr 24min journey. The Kilkenny-Waterford line is a 37min journey. The Cork-Waterford line has a train change in Limerick and the journey is 3 hours.

All trains stop at Waterford-Plunkett Station which is situated on the Quay in the centre of Waterford City. It is a 10 minute drive, a half an hour walk or a 21 minute bus journey on the number 360 bus from Waterford train station to Waterford City Centre.

Route 4: Dublin Airport - Dublin - Carlow - Waterford
Route 40: Tralee - Killarney - Cork - Dungarvan - Waterford Rosslare - Wexford - Waterford
Route 55: Limerick - Clonmel - Waterford
Bus Eireann provides services to Waterford from Dublin, Limerick and Cork
Local bus provider JJ Kavanagh & Sons runs hourly buses to and from Dublin Airport, also
stopping in Dublin City Centre (Heuston Station, Eden Quay, and Red Cow LUAS terminal).
Dublin Coach also has a return bus service which runs every two hours
between Dungarvan and Waterford to Dublin.
